Cannon Valley Clinic was established by Mayo Health System in September 1995 and provides a full range of general healthcare services to patients in Faribault and the surrounding area.
Providers and allied health staff moved into a new clinic building on the District One Hospital campus in early 1997. In 2004, Cannon Valley Clinic added a second clinic facility in Faribault at 924 First Street NE. Cannon Valley Clinic also provides OB/GYN services at Northfield Hospital in Northfield, Minnesota and Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague, Minnesota.


The clinic's staff includes seven family physicians, two pediatricians, two internal medicine specialists, a surgeon, nine obstetricians/gynecologists, a certified nurse-midwife, a physician assistant and two family nurse practitioners. Relationships with Mayo Clinic and neighboring Mayo Health System providers bring specialty services to Cannon Valley Clinic in Allergy, Cardiology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Neurology and Opthalmology.

The Faribault Area
Because Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes, it's not surprising to learn that 10 lakes can be found within 10 miles of Faribault. Water sports and other outdoor recreation opportunities abound here. The 600-acre River Bend Nature Center features trails for hiking and cross-country skiing. Bicyclists and snowmobilers head for the Sakatah-Singing Hills Trail for 39 miles of forested land reaching all the way to Mankato.
