SUMMARY:Best of the Best - Rice County Ag Hall of Fame
DESCRIPTION:The Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce Agri-Business Committee along with the Rice County Ag Society will host the 3rd Annual "Best of the Best" in Rice County Agriculture at the Rice County Fair from 7:30am to 9:00am. A free breakfast will be served courtesy of the Minnesota Farm Bureau. Following the breakfast\, the Chamber \nAg-Committee will honor three Rice County farmers with Rice County Ag Hall of Fame Awards.   The three individuals receiving the Hall of Fame award are: Ben Bartusek (New Prague) Mary Donkers (Faribault and Burton Peterson (Northfield). Mr. Bartusek will be on hand along with family members for Mary Donkers and Burton Peterson to accept a Rice County Ag Hall of Fame plaque and second plaques will be hung on the grounds of the Rice County Fair for permanent display. The Nerstrand Agri-Center is the sponsor of this award and will donate the plaques. The awards Ceremony which will be heard live on KDHL radio in Faribault\, MN will be hosted by Radio Personality and KDHL Farm Director Jerry Groskreutz.
