DESCRIPTION:How are we faring here in Faribault and in our region in 2013?  What are the economic trends and predictions?   The City of Faribault and the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce invite you to an economic summit to hear reports on our local and regional economy and initiatives for business development.\n\n\n	\n		Neal Young\, Economic Analysis Director from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development will provide the opening comments.\n	\n		Hear a report from Kathi Schaff Director of Partnerships & Business Development for the GROW Minnesota program of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce.\n	\n		Mayor John Jasinski will report on the "State of the City" and introduce new elected officials and the new city Administrator Brian Anderson.\n\nOther speakers pending include representatives from Rice County\, the Faribault EDA\,  the Small Business Development Center and the Chamber of Commerce Business Advocates group.\n\nThe event will be held at the Faribault Elks Lodge East Wing. Reservations may be made on-line via the chamber website or by calling the chamber office.
