DESCRIPTION:The Chamber Agri-Business committee will be hosting its Annual Farm-Business Luncheon on Thursday\,\n\nNovember 20 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Knights of Columbus in downtown Faribault.  \n\n\n\nThe purpose of this event is to join local business people with Ag related businesses in an educational and enjoyable event while hearing from a knowledgeable speaker that directly relates to Agriculture. \n\n\n\nOur speaker this year is Tom Gillaspy.  Tom served as the Minnesota State Demographer from 1979 to March 2012.  During that time\, he was involved with a wide-ranging set of issue\, applying an understanding of demographic trends in such areas as the state's economy\, health care for an aging population\, education\, higher education\, welfare reform\, rural population change\, labor shortages\, immigration\, housing\, government spending\, and the aging state workforce. \n\n \n\nTom is now the principal at Gillaspy Demographics\, providing consulting\, training\, and speaking services on the rapidly changing American and Global demographics and their implications.\n\n\n\nSponsored by: Upper Midwest Management Corp.
