SUMMARY:FREE Computer Recycling! One Day Only
DESCRIPTION:One Day Only \n\n\n\nWhy Recycle? \n\nAvoid ground\, water and air pollution \n\n- Electronic waste can release materials such as lead\, mercury and cadmium into the soil\, groundwater and atmosphere. \n\n\n\nReuse and Repurpose \n\n- Many materials in computer hardware can be recovered by recycling for use in future production. Examples of substances that can be harvested from computer hardware include: tin\, silicon\, iron\, aluminum\, a variety of plastics\, lead\, copper and more . \n\n\n\nData Security:\n\nWe strive to ensure data security in the recycling process while our recycling partner erases or destroys hard drives and memory-containing devices\, we encourage our customers to erase all sensitive data from their devices before recycling them. If you want Pantheon to pull and destroy the hard drive on a given machine\, you must inform Pantheon when you drop off the computer. \n\n\n\nItems Accepted: \n\nWe will be accepting laptops\, desktops and pretty much anything you attach to them (monitors\, printers\, mice\, etc.). We will be charging $5 (50% off our normal fee) for all CRT monitors (those are the old big ones LCD flat screens are free)\, but all other equipment is free.
