DESCRIPTION:Manufacturing accounts for one in every five jobs in Rice County! \n\nLet's celebrate our local manufacturing and hear local and statewide trends and developments.\n\n\n\nTour the new expansion of South Central College at 11 - right before the luncheon.\n\n\n\nJoin us for a luncheon on October 24 at 12 noon at South Central College.\n\nHear from Mark Schultz\, Regional Labor Market Analyst and get the local perspective from Faribault plant managers and educators.\n\n\n\nThe you can participate in local manufacturing tours immediately after the luncheon.\n\nCall the chamber for details on the tours.\n\n\n\nPre-registration is required. Manufacturing tours begin at 2 pm following the luncheon and program. Choose one of the following tours:\nFaribault Foods\n\nMRG Tool & Die\n\nSAGE Glass\n\nK  & G Manufacturing\n*All tours require advance registration through the Chamber or you can register on the website. Please indicate which tour you are selecting. Tours will be filled on a first come-first serve basis and priority for tours will be given to participants attending the luncheon.
