DESCRIPTION:District One Hospital Medical Explorers is an opportunity for students to have an inside look into the world of healthcare careers. Explorers receive hands-on experiential learning in the medical field and various aspects of working in a hospital. Exploring programs are based on five areas of emphasis: career opportunities\, life skills\, citizenship\, character education\, and leadership. District One Hospital Medical Explorers Post #3732 is open to all high school students. Preference will be given to returning Explorers\, high school seniors\, and high school juniors. Application deadline is September 19\, 2012. The 2012-2013 Explorer Post season will run September 26th   January 23rd\, and February 13th through April 24th.
