There is no cost to attend\, but we encourage pre-registration.\n\n\n\nAbout the Speaker:\n\n\n\n\n	Elizabeth M. Van Slyke is the president and owner of North 40 Consulting\, Inc.Elizabeth brings over 20 years of experience in marketing\, corporate branding & identity\, product management\, new product development\, domestic and international new market identification & market expansion. Additionally\, she has experience in a number of TQM\, Lean\, ISO\, and Six Sigma initiatives both in direct (manufacturing) and indirect (office) environments.\n\n	Elizabeth has been particularly effective defining strategies and processes critical to achieving corporate objectives for top and bottom line growth\, market expansion\, product development\, and quality. Her ability to develop a clear vision along with defining the means for achieving that vision are skills that have differentiated Elizabeth throughout her career.\n\n	Prior to founding North 40 Consulting in 2005\, Ms. Van Slyke worked for Wenger Corporation\, a privately held company that designs and manufactures equipment for education and performing arts environments worldwide. During her tenure with Wenger Corporation\, Ms. Van Slyke earned a number of promotions\, ending her career there as the Director of Marketing.\n\n	Before joining Wenger Corporation in 1992\, Ms. Van Slyke worked for Viracon\, Inc.\, a worldwide leader in architectural glass fabrication for the commercial market. At Viracon\, Elizabeth served in a number of positions in sales\, technical services\, marketing\, and operations.\n\n	Elizabeth graduated with honors in 1986 from Carleton College\, earning a BA in Sociology and Anthropology. In 2001 she completed the Minnesota Management Institute program through the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Additionally\, Elizabeth has received specialized training in ISO\, DFMEA\, Miller-Heiman selling processes\, and product development.
