City Beautification & Arbor Day Event
Show your Faribault pride and join us to help Faribault shine! The City is looking for your help to beautify Faribault. Help us plant trees in Central Park, install plants in a rain garden, or clean up trash and litter around your neighborhood City park, pond, or trail. The event will kick-off in Central Park at 9 AM. Volunteers will be greeted with breakfast snacks and may pick up supplies before heading to your neighborhoods or to the rain garden location . Supplies are also available for pickup in advance of the event at the Community Center. Trash and litter will be collected by City staff on Monday, May 9th. Please consolidate trash bags in one location at your neighborhood park, pond, or trail for easier pickup. This event is free and open to the public. Volunteers are asked to pre-register in advance at the Community Center or by contacting the Parks and Recreation Department at 507.334.2064. We hope to see you Saturday May 7th!
