Cross-Country Ski Series - Session 1: Ski Prep
Join River Bend Naturalist and former St. Olaf Ski team member Zach Hudson for a three-part series on cross-country skiing. While the sessions complement each other participants are not required to attend all three sessions and may come to any single session or all three.
Session 1: Ski Prep
Participants will learn how to properly prepare both classic and skate skis for the coming winter. Topics covered will include proper wax application and scraping and brushing of waxed skis. Both kick and glide waxing will be addressed.
Session 2: Ski Techinique will be held on December 8th, 2012. Session 3: Naturalist Ski wil be held on February 2nd, 2013. See our web site for future session descriptions.
