Faribault Airfest & Balloon Rally

The Faribault Balloon Rally and Airfest will mark its 25th Silver Anniversary in 2009 with its trademark Balloon Launches, Military Appreciation (Free admission to current Military Service Members) and Minnesota's first Aerobatic Air Race - the Blue Sky Challenge Cup.  Held on September 18-19 there will be dawn & dusk Balloon launches plus Noon & Afternoon Air Show demonstrations and Air Race.  Plenty of Military equipment, Tanks, Warbirds, Ultra-Lights, and Vintage Aircraft will also be displayed along with a wide range of ground activities for the whole family.  Event activities will be presented on the airport ramp, in the hangar, and within the Kid’s Corner Area.
