Try your hand at the world’s largest treasure hunt! Geocaching uses a GPS or mobile device to search for hidden containers that are marked by coordinates. Meet at the Interpretive Center to learn some tips, tricks, and etiquette before heading out for the trails in search of caches.
A Naturalist will walk you through how to use the Geocaching app, available for Apple and Android products. The Interpretive Center does not offer public Wi-Fi, so download the app and charge your phone before arriving and expect to use your cellular data throughout the program. GPS units will be available for those without a smartphone who want to learn the sport. Wear comfortable walking shoes, long pants, and bring a water bottle. All ages and experiences welcome! $5/person, or $15/family. Members are FREE
