Maple Syrup Fun Run 50K/10K/5K/Walk

The annual Maple Syrup Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, May 14th, 2016. Our races include 50K solo, 50K relay, 10K and 5K trail runs (all jumbo clock timed) and a one-mile prairie walk (untimed).

Race entry fee includes entry to our Pancake Brunch after the Fun Run, and a race shirt(register by May 1st). Those that complete the 50K will get a finishers shirt as well.

Pre-register for discounted entry fees (through May 13th at 5:00pm). Day of registration will also be available. Race registrations are non-refundable.

About the Race Route
The River Bend Fun Run is a 100% trail race which meanders along the Straight River and through the Big Woods. The course is a multi-use single track wood chip or dirt trail. Enjoy being out in nature during the spring season and get a chance to see the forest floor awaken with spring wildflowers. All of the races will start and end near the River Bend Nature Center interpretive center in Faribault, Minnesota. Runners will have access to aid stations between the start and finish. Although the Maple Syrup Fun Run is a long standing tradition at River Bend, 2016 is the first year that a 50K is being added.
