Project Runway
A summer dress, head band*, hair scrunchy*, and a Project Runway Showcase to display all your fashionista creations. No experience necessary. We?ll show you all you need to know. Accelerated students may be asked to bring in a cotton t-shirt for up-cycling. Students will make the aforementioned projects while learning sewing basics including: how to safely use a sewing machine, cutting patterns to size, hand-stitching techniques, needle work and accessorizing. When we?re done, invite your family; invite your friends; invite your co-workers. Your child?s last day of class Project Runway presentation will command attention and dazzle audiences. Sign up for Project Runway ?15 to put the sleek into tres chic! Ooo la la! PARENTS: 1) You will be invited to attend the Project Runway Showcase the last day of class. Ask your child?s instructor for exact time; 2) Projects with an * are completed dependent on student?s experience and attendance. Please provide your child with one cotton-poly blended t-shirt for up-cycling into a book tote.
