If you have have a great idea for a boutique or you would like to buy an existing business or if you've been in business for ten years\, but the market has changed and you need some advice and idea on how to move forward\, the SBDC may be able to help you regardless of where you are in your business timeline.\n\n\n\nThe regional SBDC office is housed at the Faribault Chamber of Commerce\, but you do not have to be a Chamber member to receive services. The SBDC services are available to everyone free of charge.\n\n\n\nExamples of available Consulting: \n\n Access to capital and loan packaging\n Financial assessment and accounting systems\n Marketing and research\n Business plan and marketing plan development\n Start-up and prestart-up assistance\n eCommence/website development\n Succession and strategic planning\n\nOnce important note-the SBDC does NOT provide or administer loan or grant programs\, however\, clients can receive help completing loan packages from agencies such as Small Business Administration (SBA).\n\n \n\nIf you could use any of the services that the SBDC provides\, just call (507) 334-4381 or visit their website at www.mnsbdc.com.\n\n \n\nThis program is recommended for anyone applying for the Main Street Business Challenge competition.
