Job Summary:
Cradle 2 Career is a community-wide collective impact initiative that is hosted by Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism; Chamber Trust. We are seeking an organized and passionate leader to manage the benchmark (7) action teams – talented groups of individuals that shape and implement this important work. This role resides in Faribault, Minnesota, at The Faribault Chamber of Commerce with the goal of advancing and ensuring Pathways to Success for all Faribault students, by creating/maintaining collaborative relationships within the public/private sector, through shared purpose, alignment, and accountability among community partners.

· Facilitate networks of community partners around the seven priority benchmarks of Faribault Cradle 2 Career.
Professional facilitation helps our network incorporate latest research and achieve uncommon results.
· Support data infrastructure for partners to increase shared knowledge, create evidenced-based improvement action plans and monitor collective efficacy more efficiently.
· Provide consulting to community partners upon request in areas of community engagement and program evaluation.
· Build and sustain a system to ensure consistency, transparency, and long-term sustainability. Ensure the system includes voices, input and is responsive to those intended to benefit from the work.
· Manage the complex nature of multi-sector systems and collaboratives and develop with partners comprehensive solutions to address Cradle 2 Career goals.
· Provide direction and support to partner organizations to align efforts on our shared goals.
· Provide reporting to / for partner organizations, for legality and marketing purposes.
· Offer administrative and organizational support for growing initiative to enhance home-ownership in the Faribault Area
Required Skills/Abilities:

▪ High level of credibility within a community setting and educational leadership by virtue of demonstrated capacity to lead, commitment to collaboration and passion for excellence.
Capable public speaker and committed to effective communication at all levels, across all sectors.
▪ Organizational Development and Planning
▪ Capacity to work with a great deal of independence and self-direction.
▪ Advanced planning skills including a demonstrated ability to think strategically on both an organizational level and systemic level over a multi-year horizon.
▪ Strong orientation on the use of data and ability to oversee complex reporting and shared measurement systems.
▪ Financial Management ▪ Experience with board policy governance style of management a plus. ▪ Experience securing funding. ▪ Experience writing and managing grants a plus.
▪ Critical Thinking and Problem Solving ▪ Demonstrated experience with change management and project management. ▪ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
▪ Collaborator ▪ Experience working with organizations or systems with a focus on equity and inclusion.
▪ Strong work ethic and good sense of humor. ▪ Understands and operates effectively within the environment of Cradle 2 Career, The Faribault Chamber of Commerce and the Faribault Public Schools (in addition to future partner schools).
▪ Partners with C2C leadership to determine how best to get things done.
▪ Formulates, communicates, and advocates in an ethical and diplomatic manner. Education and Experience: Candidates could come from a variety of backgrounds: a coordinator or director of an educational institution, related nonprofit organization, private sector or business enterprise. The Coordinator will need to possess the expertise required to lead a committee, with focus on convening stakeholders and earning the respect and trust from educators, administrators, community leaders, etc. (both public and private).

The Faribault Forward, C2C Coordinator will need to build consensus among other diverse professional, business, and community stakeholders. Being bilingual in English and Spanish or Somali is a plus. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
