Join the Rice County Historical Society as we celebrate our Frence Heritage at the Faribault Elks on February 26, 2011. The Jambalaya and french bread will be catered by Chef Jeff LaBeau. Dinner will begin at 6pm with music starting at 7pm. Cajun music will be provided by The Swamp Kings, a well known Southeast Minnesota band. A local dance teacher will be giving free dance lessons before the band begins. Come and dance or just sit back and enjoy a fun way to celebrate a part of Rice County's heritage.Tickets are $20.00 each for dinner and dance, or $10 for dance only. Seating is limited.
