We invite you to a free opportunity to experience A New Norm, a story and discussion that serves as a springboard for meaningful conversation with youth about mental wellness. Written by a South Dakota author, Tom Roberts and illustrated by artist Jim Brummond, A New Norm expresses how routine thoughts of negativity can sometimes cloud reality, making it difficult to enjoy life, appreciate what is truly good, maintain positive relationships or develop to one’s full potential. This online webinar will feature Author/Storyteller, Tom Roberts from Children’s Home Society, as well as discussion with Clinical Program Manager and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Amber Reints from Avera McKennan Behavioral Health. This event is designed for all adults, parents, grandparents, church, school, community leaders and youth 8 years of age or older. Feel free to share this opportunity with others. Each household in attendance for the LIVE presentation at 10am on 5/1/21 or 7pm on 5/5/21 will receive two free autographed copies of A New Norm. Two books per household – one to keep and one to share to “Be the SPARK” for someone else. To qualify, you must register, attend, and complete the survey following the event. The survey provides us with the address where you would like the books shipped. No products will be sold. For additional disclosures, see Thrivent.com/social.
