Best Practices for Protecting our Children
A one-day conference on best practices for protecting the children in the care of schools and youth organizations. The target audience for this conference is adults who interact with young people ages 5-18 years of age.
Participants will learn:
- How to screen and train employees and volunteers to keep children safe.
- How to create best practive policies and procedures to ensure organization compliance.
- How to help raise awareness for children in terms of boundaries, grooming by adults, and support resources.
- Was a former career federal prosecutor and is a leading child protection expert.
- Served as the first-ever National Coordinator for the Child Exploitation Prevention.
- Directed the U.S. Justice Department's policy, education, prosecution, and funding efforts for child exploitation.
- Provides advice, counsel and expert witness services to schools, firms, law enforcement, government, and others on the protection of children.
