Faribault Elks Medal of Valor Ceremony

Faribault Elks will present the Elks Medal of Valor to the parents of Fallen Soldier Lance Cpl. Caleb L. Erickson who lost his life on February 28, 2014 while serving in Afghanistan. The ceremony will last about 45 minutes with speeches from the MN Elks State President, several people who knew Caleb, and State dignitaries. Caleb who was 20 at the time of his passing, was raised in Waseca, MN. He graduated from Waseca High in 2012 and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in July of that year. The Faribault Elks will present his parents, Barry and Karla (Scherff) Erickson with the Elks Medal of Valor in a ceremony at our Lodge. We hope you can be present for the ceremony when we honor his memory and great sacrifice he gave to our country!
