MN State Academies is pleased to name our new dormitory building in honor of Blanche Wilkins Williams. Ms. Wilkins was the first deaf black woman to graduate from MSAD in 1893. She went on to become one of the first teachers at the North Carolina School for Colored Deaf and an accomplished, outspoken advocate for her race and her deaf peers.
Please join us as we celebrate the grand opening of our newest residential building.
