Join us as we explore Rice County Agriculture “Then and Now.” Campers will learn about how settlers worked the land, the role of women and children on the family farm, and see how farming has changed (and stays the same) today. We will tour two local farms, spend time in the Rice County Historical Society’s log cabin, explore the RCHS agricultural collection and more!
The 2011 History Mini-Camp will be held at the Rice County Historical Society July 7-8, 9:00 am to 2:30pm. The cost is $20.00 for members and $30.00 for non-members. Participants must be entering 4th through 8th grade in the fall of 2011.
