TREE FROG MUSIC FESTIVAL - This popular community festival is a non-profit - all volunteer - family-oriented event held in beautiful Teepee Tonka Park in Faribault. We feature a variety of terrific music, beautiful art and delicious food! 2010 is the 15th year for the festival!
Tree Frog is a unique music fest that presents music of a wonderful variety of styles including blues, rock and roll, jazz, bluegrass, acoustic, world music, and others. It has earned a reputation as one of the best small music festivals in the region. We showcase quality musical talent on a giant stage that allows one group to set up while the other is playing.... and that means non-stop music for two days! Our headliners this year include Grammy Award winners the Texas Tornados with opening act The Fabulous Love Handles on Saturday evening, jazz piano from the Tanner Taylor Trio on Saturday afternoon, acoustic roots blues duo Joe & Vicki Price on Sunday afternoon and Tree Frog favorites Mike Hildebrandt and The Over & Back Band on Sunday evening.
