About Us
Northfield's KYMN radio station has been a community staple since its founding in 1968 by Stan Stydnicki. The station's original mission was to provide a mix of community news, sports, and music—a tradition it continues today.
In 2016, KYMN expanded its reach by launching a new FM signal, 95.1 The One, which broadcasts to nearby communities like Cannon Falls, Nerstrand, Faribault, and Lonsdale. The station also streams online, sharing the best of Northfield with a global audience.
