From Faribault go east on Highway #60 (about 5 miles) to CR # 23 turn south (go 3 miles) to CR #19 turn east (go 3/4 mile) farm is on the south side
About Us
Purfeerst Farms is a family-owned and operated grain and cattle operation with a long history in agriculture in Rice County. The home farm is located just east of Faribault on the original land homesteaded by the Purfeerst family. Jim Purfeerst, owner, is the 5th generation to manage the farm and works closely with his sons, Matt and Mark, to grow and improve their operation. They farm over 3500 acres of corn and soybeans and have a cowherd of 25 seedstock Angus cattle. They sell Angus show cattle to youth across the Midwest.
